Despicable behaviour in the way Neil Atkin conducted himself when Laxman was emptying his locker. Not one ounce of respect, gratitude or even regard for the career that man has had. The insight and knowledge Laxman is offering up here parting with his belongings, being met with such sterile and vacant empathy, is everything that is wrong with modern management. Laxman had cut his teeth on the railways and had seen and dealt with so many things before this kid was even in nappies.

I haven’t watched Simon cook for ages, but I can say there can be none better. Oily peppers had my mouth watering and me yearning to eat them, then it;s the oily Aubergines, wow! Epic! Thank you Simon, I will be enjoying some gorgeous food this coming weekend, and so cheap and simple! Good oil is a must of course, but it’s the cooking techniques and skills that produce the goods. Practice makes perfect too, Peppers Piedmontese coming up. Thank you, great vids.

My Mum owns and runs her own restaurant and she consistently got 5s from food inspectors until one day when she got a 3 because she ran out of cleaning spray luckily that person was wrong and she got it changed back to a 5
